Cynthia has been a professional wedding and family photographer, with a studio based in London, Ontario for over 15 years, capturing the most precious moments for her clients throughout each chapter of their lives. Often meeting clients by photographing their love stories, Cynthia's natural talent and passion for her craft have kept her firmly embedded in her clients' lives, documenting their milestones, celebrations, and families for many years after their weddings.

With an artistic flair, Cynthia infuses her love of art, a creative eye, and fun into each of her projects. Her style is considered modern with a touch of whimsy, drawing inspiration from the landscape and natural scenery to create unique memories that her clients will cherish forever.

What should I wear?

I believe that clothing is an extension of your personality and that should shine through in your session. That being said, there are a few important factors to consider when choosing your outfits for your shoot:

1. To ensure your professional images are personal to you, don't stray from your personal style. Make sure the outfits you wear are something you would wear in your everyday life - you want the photos to reflect your day to day style.

2. Choose a few different outfits so that you have more than one look, providing more photo options for you to consider. I always recommend choosing a neutral colour, a solid bright colour, and a pattern if it matches the vibe of your personality.

3. Accessorize! For men, that means cufflinks, a watch, belt, shoes, tie or bow tie, jackets, etc. For women, that means jewelry, shoes - high-heeled are best for posture, belts, and scarves.

4. Test your outfits before you wear them to your shoot. Make sure you can move in them, sit in them, and that they are comfortable and flattering.

5. Consider a professional stylist. I am happy to discuss your attire with you as I have a lot of experience with this. However, if you are looking for a professional stylist, please consider contacting Channers or Hangar9 or a consultation

Should I get my hair and make up done?

I highly suggest going to a professional to have your hair and make-up done prior to the shoot. This is a very special experience and I want you to look and feel your best. We can also arrange for someone to come to the studio for you highly suggest Alycat Hair & Makeup Artistry as they are in-studio. Men, if you are able to have a fresh haircut and shave, it will enhance your photos.

What should I bring to my shoot?

A few outfit choices with shoe options - I recommend 3 options. If you want to incorporate any props such as; laptop, phone, magazine, or anything else work related, it will add to the personalization of your photos.

Where does this session happen?

Shoots can take place at my professional photography studio, as I have a variety of backdrop options and professional lighting to ensure the photos are set up for success. I do offer outdoor and in-office sessions, but please contact me directly to discuss the details and customize a package.
