Browsing and nearby jobs

You can read job listings without an account. The city site sets the starting search area. We do not ask for your device location. Search terms and filters are part of the page address, so avoid putting personal information in them.

Public professional profiles

People and Services include professional names, work samples, skills and business contact details from public sources. Imported profiles are marked as unclaimed. Contact us to request a correction or removal. We do not send messages to listed people on your behalf.

Your account

We use your email to send login codes and manage your account. We store the name you provide. Your account is shared across Local, MovoJobs, and MovoEmploi, with a separate login session for each site.

Essential cookies keep you logged in. Login codes expire after five minutes. Sessions last up to 30 days and can renew while you use the site. Log out on a shared device.

Resumes, applications, and businesses

If you use the account workspace, we store the details and files you choose to provide. Resumes are private. Sending an application shares the selected version and application details with authorized members of that employer.

Withdrawing an application ends the employer’s access through our site. It cannot remove copies an employer has already downloaded. Sent applications remain in your private history. Contact us about access, correction, or deletion.

Business details, team access, verification information, and posting history help us manage employer accounts. Approved job details are public. Verification notes and applications are private.

Services and messages

Hosting and account services process the technical information needed to run and protect the site. Postmark delivers account emails. We do not use advertising trackers on these Local pages.

Support messages are handled through MovoJobs. Its privacy notice covers the contact form, spam protection, and message retention. Do not send sensitive documents through support.

Other websites

Imported jobs usually take you to another website to apply. That site has its own privacy practices. We do not receive those applications or know whether you finished applying.
