I am a native Portuguese speaker based in Canada and a certified translator specializing in the English–Portuguese language pair.

I began my career as a translator and interpreter in Lisbon, Portugal, where I was born, raised, and educated. I hold a Licentiate Degree in Modern Languages and Literature, with majors in English and German, from the University of Lisbon.

After moving to Canada, I furthered my professional training by earning a CILISAT diploma and a CET Core Interpreter Training Program diploma. I also obtained government certification to work as a freelance contractor for the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada (IRB), the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), and Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC). At present, I focus exclusively on translation services.

I am a certified English-to-Portuguese translator and a member in good standing of the Association of Translators and Interpreters of Ontario (ATIO), which is affiliated with the Canadian Translators, Terminologists and Interpreters Council (CTTIC). My services are sought by private clients, Ontario-based translation agencies, and federal government institutions.

My areas of specialization include the translation of vital records, as well as medical, legal, business, educational, and immigration documents.
