Maintenance Electrician / Industrial Electrician
Location: London, Ontario
Job Type: Full-Time Contract – Ongoing
Shift: Straight Midnights – Sunday to Thursday
Pay: Up to $43.00/hour, based on qualifications and experience
We are currently hiring Maintenance Electricians / Industrial Electricians for an ongoing full-time contract opportunity with a manufacturing client. The client is looking for experienced industrial maintenance professionals, as well as apprentices with industrial experience, to support their maintenance team.
What You’ll Do
- Perform electrical troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on industrial equipment.
- Diagnose electrical, control, and mechanical issues on production machinery.
- Perform electrical installations, repairs, and modifications as required.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Support equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime.
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance activities.
- Follow all safety procedures, electrical codes, and company policies.
- Work closely with maintenance and production teams to keep equipment operating safely and efficiently.
Qualifications
- 442A Industrial Electrician / Maintenance Electrician certification is an asset and preferred for the top rate.
- 309A with industrial electrical maintenance experience may be considered.
- Industrial electrical maintenance experience.
- Apprentices with industrial/manufacturing experience are encouraged to apply.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical and industrial equipment.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and drawings.
- Strong safety awareness and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working straight midnight shifts.
This is an ongoing contract position with the potential for continued employment.
