Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Physical Education Teacher located in the London, Canada Metropolitan Area. The Physical Education Teacher will develop and implement physical education curricula, teach and engage students in a variety of physical activities, and foster a positive and inclusive learning environment. Additional responsibilities include coaching sports teams, promoting health and wellness initiatives, and collaborating with colleagues to achieve school objectives.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Physical Education and Sports Coaching
- Experience in Curriculum Development and Education methodologies
- Strong teaching abilities and classroom management skills
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Relevant teaching certification or qualification (e.g., Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or related field)
- Understanding of health, fitness, and student development principles
- Experience in extracurricular sports programs or coaching roles is an asset
