Fanshawe Pioneer Village

1424 Clarke Road, conservation-area entrance

Fanshawe Pioneer Village is an outdoor living-history museum inside Fanshawe Conservation Area. Its buildings and demonstrations explore local life between 1820 and 1920.

The daily visitor season has ended. The operator lists May 22, 2027 as the next seasonal opening. Remaining 2026 events use their own tickets and a different event entrance. Follow the instructions for your event rather than the museum’s mailing address.

Seasonal sites and advance booking

Fanshawe Pioneer Village has ended its daily heritage-village season and gives May 22, 2027 as the next opening. Remaining 2026 seasonal events have their own tickets and a new event entrance, so use the instructions attached to that event. The mailing address is not the usual visitor entrance.

The Museum of Ontario Archaeology asks visitors to book a tour in advance. A general directory listing should not be read as confirmation that an unbooked walk-in is available. Historic houses, small specialist museums and volunteer-run sites may also use tours or limited opening days.

Children, school visits and choosing a ticket

The London Children’s Museum is now at 100 Kellogg Lane, not its former Wharncliffe Road address. Its operator describes exhibits for children aged zero to nine and their caregivers. Use the current ticket page for age bands, admission and special access arrangements.

Before buying for a group, list the number of children and adults, transport, food needs and required support. General admission, a school program, a birthday booking and a special event may have different prices and cancellation rules.

Plan the visit without confusing costs

Keep these parts of the visit separate
ItemWhat to check
General admissionThe price for each person and any concessions
Special programWhether it needs a separate booking or ticket
ParkingA separate charge, validation rule or different entrance
AccessibilityEntrance, lifts, washrooms and support-person policy
PhotographsRules for the current exhibition and personal or commercial use
Food and bagsStorage and where eating is allowed

This guide lists destinations rather than promising that every gallery, room or aircraft is open. Use the official operator for a current exhibition, closure or event. Smaller galleries, theatres and regional heritage sites are separate categories and are not silently counted as London museums.
